Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for CBD, hemp, vape and alternative wellness merchants that want compliant, stable payment infrastructure.

Yes — CBD and hemp merchants are at the heart of OGPayX. We work with businesses that are compliant, transparent and legally operating in their jurisdictions, subject to review by our regulated PSP / EMI partners.
No — OGPayX is a payment technology layer. All regulated payment and safeguarding activities (acquiring, e-money issuance, settlement) are performed by licensed PSP / EMI institutions in the EU and UK. We orchestrate the stack and give you one clean interface.
Our entire approach is to avoid the “one-day your account is just gone” experience. As long as you operate within EU law, card scheme rules and your agreed risk profile, we do not offboard you suddenly. If there is a concern, we escalate, talk and give clear options — not silent switches.
We primarily support merchants based in most European Union countries. The UK is handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on your industry, volumes and the EMI partners best suited to your profile.
No. Customer funds are safeguarded by our regulated PSP / EMI partners in line with EU payment regulations. OGPayX does not directly hold or safeguard client money — we give you visibility and control over what happens.
We work with a clearly agreed pricing model upfront. That includes transaction fees, any rolling reserve and settlement terms. No hidden “compliance fees” or surprise add-ons. You always see exactly what you pay in your dashboard.
For well-prepared merchants (KYC/KYB documents ready and clear business model), onboarding can often be completed in a matter of days. Complex structures or multi-country setups can take longer, but you will always know where you stand in the process.
Rolling reserves are set by our PSP / EMI partners based on your risk profile (chargeback history, ticket size, product type, jurisdictions). In many cases we can negotiate lighter reserves if your business is transparent, data-backed and well run.
We don’t believe in trapping merchants. Our commercial agreements are designed to be clear and flexible. If we do our job well, you stay because it makes sense — not because you are locked into a penalty-heavy contract. Details are always shared upfront.
OGPayX connects to major e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop, as well as custom checkouts via API. On the POS side, we integrate with supported terminals from our PSP / EMI partners so you see everything in one dashboard.
Yes. We can help you plan a step-by-step migration including test phase, partial traffic routing and full cutover, so you don’t risk downtime or cashflow interruptions. Our goal is a smooth, low-friction transition.
We combine a modern dashboard with real human support. That means proactive communication when something important happens (risk, scheme changes, compliance questions), plus responsive help when you need it. You’re not just “opening a ticket and waiting”.
Yes. TWOEF Ltd is based in the EU (Malta) and we design our data flows around GDPR principles. For merchants, we can act as controller and/or processor depending on the use case and can provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) where required.
In most cases we can offer a test or sandbox environment and a staged rollout (e.g. one store, a portion of traffic, or a test brand) so you can validate performance, reporting and support before routing all payments through OGPayX.
If chargebacks rise, we analyse why together: product, communication, logistics, fraud. Our PSP / EMI partners may adjust risk settings or reserves, but the goal is to correct and stabilise — not to “switch you off” without context. The earlier you involve us, the better we can help.
